Time to tackle the outside as well as the inside while the weather is good. Fortunately we know people that are experts in that area and we only have to hang from the rafters on the inside and not grab a gutter on the way down"-)

The picture above is how the building looked when we bought it. The roof had the rust streaks coming down and the metal caps were in dire need of paint.

The photo on the right is a close up of the roof trim after it had been repaired and painted.

You can tell the dormer windows need to be opened up so we'll head inside and see what constructive damage we can do while the professionals tend to the roof!

found things:
the bundle swept out sometimes you just discover things when you aren't expecting them	Bundle of freight tickets found behind and under the drywall.	tickets spread out on table dated 10/ 2/ 1959 loaded at Ames, IN
the thirteenth ticket bad luck? probably for the guy that was searching for them. If you recognize these and remember misplacing them let us know!		How about a Hostess cookie wrapper? I don't recall the red diamond on the wrapper, do you? When did it change to a heart?

	It took several weekends to get this job accomplished. It ran into September and the painting will have to wait 'til Spring.
It's time to roll into Fall and winterize . . .
